Changi Airport Terminal 3

Changi Airport Terminal 3 is internationally recognised for its passenger-focused design, with architecture and lighting working together to create a calm, intuitive travel experience. Central to this outcome is the dynamic ceiling light system by durlum, which integrates lighting, ceiling and services into a single, cohesive architectural element.

Installed throughout key areas of the terminal, the system delivers soft, evenly distributed illumination that supports wayfinding and passenger comfort while enhancing the spatial quality of the interior. The ceiling’s modular design allows lighting, ventilation and acoustic elements to be seamlessly incorporated, maintaining a clean, uncluttered appearance across large expanses of the terminal.

The result is a high-performance ceiling solution that balances technical precision with visual elegance, contributing to Changi Airport Terminal 3’s reputation as a benchmark for contemporary airport design.
